ASHEVILLE, NC and ATLANTA, GA — July 11, 2012 — We are pleased to announce that Metametrix, Inc. and Genova Diagnostics, Inc. have entered into an agreement to combine efforts under one company. We have operated as two leading clinical laboratories in applying a systems-based testing approach to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of complex chronic disease. This move allows advancement of our shared mission to improve the lives of patients through comprehensive and innovative clinical laboratory services. Customers will benefit from an extensive list of advanced testing, clinical education and patient-friendly reports & billing options, all from one company. For now we will operate both brands separately in our respective laboratories. We'll keep you informed as we combine our operations and service teams. Q. Why did you integrate?

By integrating, we will also be able to expand our investment in research & development, clinical trials, medical education and market expansion.

Q. What does this mean for me?
Our highest priority is continuity of service to our customers. We have taken every measure to ensure that your experience will remain virtually unchanged. Please continue to operate as usual. As we integrate together, we'll keep you informed of improvements. Q. Where can I find more information about the integration? Metametrix? Genova?
The information available on our website and social media outlets will be the most up-to-date method of tracking our progress as we integrate.

Q. Will there be a new name?
The separate brand/corporate identities will remain intact for now. We'll communicate changes to our brand as we integrate. Please continue to watch our website and social media outlets for the latest in news.

Q. Will phone numbers, websites, email addresses change?
Please continue to contact us at our current 800 numbers and email addresses. Both websites will remain intact at this time. As we integrate, we'll keep you informed of changes as they occur.

Q. Will I now be able to order testing through both companies?
As before, you must have a current account agreement on file with each lab facility from which you wish to order testing. If you are an existing GDx customer, but would like to also order testing from MMX, please contact Client Services at MMX to set up a new account and vice versa. It is a integration priority to unify your testing experience with our combined lab facility. As we integrate, we'll keep you informed of changes as they occur.

Q. Where are you going to be located?
We will have facilities in Asheville, NC and Atlanta, GA.
